World Renew

World Renew serves worldwide as the development, disaster response, and justice arm of the Christian Reformed Church in North America.  By serving in some of the world’s poorest countries, World Renew aims to develop resilience through programs in health and nutrition, agriculture, literacy, income-earning, disaster response and much more.  World Renew’s work depends on regular financial contributions and offerings from God’s people and does not receive Ministry Shares from the CRCNA.  World Renew’s focus on development, disaster response and justice is changing the story of people living in poverty into testimonies of hope.  worldrenew.net/

Resonate Global Mission

Each one of us is a missionary.  We all have a calling; we all have a voice.  As a single mission agency, we are now able to equip the Christian Reformed Church for that calling – for living and sharing the good news, so that it goes out in every direction like an expanding, amplifying sound.  As a congregation we support the work of Stephanie TenHove in her work at the Nehemiah Center in Nicaragua.

World Renew – Feeding those Who Hunger

As followers of Jesus we have been called to love our neighbours.  Jesus gives a few examples of how that is done.  He tells the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10.29-37), showing us that we love our enemies, yet showing us an enemy loving us.  He tells the story of the Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25.31-46), showing us that we love God as we love those in need.  We are called to love, and we can do that as we help others to be able to be fed and to feed their families.

World Renew works with the Canadian Food Grains Bank to care for people who do not have the food they need.  Gifts to World Renew are matched by the Canadian Government, up to 4 to 1, so that our gifts have an even greater impact.  Consider how you are able to help out with this ministry of caring.  Giving to World Renew, praying for the work World Renew does around the world.  We encourage each to find ways they can support the good work World Renew is doing to put grace into action.
