Coming out of the Reformation tradition we emphasize the preaching of the Word of God. We sing together from a wide variety of styles of music. We value our times of prayer and fellowship together.
Most of the year we follow the traditional church year and utilize the readings of the Common Lectionary as a guide to seeing the whole of Scripture over the year. Although most years we take the summer to look at different themes. The church year beginning with Advent (the four weeks leading up to Christmas), Christmas, Epiphany, Lent (the 40 days leading to Easter), Easter, Pentecost (the coming of the Holy Spirit), and Christ the King Sunday (the last day of the church year that looks forward to Christ’s return and also at his rule over all things today).
We worship each Sunday at 10 am. You are invited to worship with us in person at 431 Albert Street in Renfrew, Ontario. You can also see our worship services on line posted later in the day on our YouTube channel.
